about us
We are Trevor and Emily Leland, owners and operators of Leland Drainage + Excavating, located in rural Bricelyn, MN. We are raising our family in a community where we both work and live. Our three children, Norie, Taylin, and Ty, love to work alongside us. Hard work and teaching the next generation is something we strongly value. In our spare time, you might find Trevor hunting with our dog, Emily running or adventuring with the kids, or all 5 of us on a side-by-side ride; a family favorite!

what we do
-
excavating
Careful prep work is crucial to any project’s success. Our team provides expert excavation; digging and clearing areas to prep for new site work, new waterways, and more. This is what we like to call the prep work phase of our projects.
-
conservation
Don’t let your hard work have negative consequences on your soil health. If you’re ready to retain top soil, reduce nutrient loss, and decrease chemical and fertilizer runoff, then it may be time to look into land conservation options. Land conservation not only protects your farmland but your livestock, and the surrounding environment and wildlife. Land conservation includes: restoration of land areas back to their natural states through ditch cleaning, clearing overgrowth, and reshaping natural waterways.

drainage
Increase your crop yields and reduce damage to your current + future crops with a custom farm drainage system. From tiling to pumps and lift stations, there are various ways we can work with you to improve your field drainage. Not only does drainage improve overall plant health by maintaining soil moisture levels, it can also provide much needed oxygen to roots, reduce soil compaction, nutrient runoff, topsoil loss, and fungal diseases.
